Construction materials testing & special inspection
We provide field testing, code-required inspection, and compliance documentation for construction projects across Central Ohio. Our technicians work to ASTM, ACI, ICC, and AWS standards, with laboratory analysis performed by AASHTO-accredited partner laboratories and engineering interpretation provided by licensed Ohio professional engineers.

Concrete Testing
Slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and cylinder casting to ASTM C31, C143, C138, and C231.
Soils & Earthwork
In-place density and moisture testing, subgrade verification, proof-roll observation, controlled fill.
Asphalt & Pavement
Placement observation, in-place density, and sampling for mix verification.
Masonry & Grout
Masonry, grout, and mortar sampling and prism preparation.
Cold-Weather Concrete
ACI 306 protection verification, temperature logging, and maturity monitoring to ASTM C1074.
IBC Chapter 17
Special Inspection
Statement of special inspections administration through final report for the building official.
Structural Steel, Bolting & Welding
Erection verification, high-strength bolting to RCSC, and visual weld inspection to AWS D1.1 and D1.4.
Fireproofing & Firestop
SFRM thickness, density, and bond per IBC 1705.14; penetration firestop per ASTM E2174 and E2393.
Post-Tension Observation
Tendon placement, anchorage inspection, stressing observation with elongation verification.
Post-Installed Anchors
Installation inspection and proof-load testing to ACI 355.4.
Floor Flatness & Levelness
ASTM E1155 profile measurement for warehouse, distribution, data center, and manufacturing slabs.
