Construction materials testing & construction inspection
Reserves provides field testing, materials sampling, construction observation, construction inspection, and compliance documentation for projects throughout Columbus and Central Ohio. Services are performed by qualified personnel in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards. Laboratory analysis and engineering interpretation are coordinated through qualified partners when required.
Field testing
Construction Materials Testing
Concrete, soils, asphalt, aggregates, masonry, grout, and mortar field services with documented chain of custody and prompt electronic reporting.
Concrete Testing
Fresh concrete sampling and field testing, including slump, air content, temperature, density/unit weight, and specimen preparation.
Soils & Earthwork
In-place density and moisture testing, subgrade and fill observation, proof-roll observation, trench backfill, and pipe-bedding compaction.
Asphalt & Pavement
Placement observation, temperature monitoring, density testing, sampling, coring coordination, and pavement documentation.
Masonry & Grout
Mortar and grout sampling, masonry prism coordination, reinforcement observation, and chain-of-custody documentation.
Cold-Weather Concrete
Temperature documentation, protection and enclosure observations, field-cured specimen programs, and maturity monitoring when required by project specifications.
Construction inspection
Inspection personnel are assigned according to the project scope, the approved inspection program, governing code, required credentials, and jurisdictional acceptance. Availability varies by discipline and assignment.
Construction Inspection
Code-required construction observation and inspection performed by appropriately qualified personnel in accordance with the project requirements.
Structural Steel, Bolting & Welding Inspection
Erection, bolting, and visual welding inspection performed by appropriately qualified personnel when the required credentials are available for the assignment.
Reinforced Concrete & Masonry
Placement and construction observation performed by appropriately qualified personnel.
Fireproofing & Firestop
Inspection performed in accordance with project requirements by appropriately qualified personnel.
Post-Tension Observation
Tendon placement, anchorage, and stressing observation by appropriately qualified personnel.
Floor Flatness & Levelness (FF/FL)
FF/FL measurement and reporting when qualified personnel and equipment are assigned.
Compliance & staffing
Stormwater Compliance
SWPPP inspections, erosion and sediment control observations, industrial sampling coordination, corrective-action tracking, and permit closeout support.
Technician Staffing
Qualified field technician and inspector augmentation for construction testing, compliance, and documentation programs.
